22nd-Nov-2009 05:14 pm - New Community
gold dust
so i was thinking about starting a new community for T...

after it being brought up about how negative it is i've been thinking about creating a new one with a more pro-tori feel to it. i mean, the one now is cool but its not as alive as it certainly could be and i feel that trolling, bashing, and hating on other members is crazy. after seeing ToriTards being used by someone who claims to be a fan about people who still like her music...ugh...i just don't know what to think.

I don't want negative comments to be banned or anything like that, i actually like hearing why people do and don't like things about her music..but the hostility toward other fans or repeated T-bashing and being there for no other reason than to hate on her just doesn't sit well with me. I'd kind of like a new community which can be the yessaid to their @ if you will...and be a bit more informative, lots more links, info, news, art..*wink wink Melody*, etc

i know not everyone at the one now is an asshat, but i don't know the mods over there and rather than suggesting this or that to whoever i'd rather just start from scratch, and hopefully i bunch of people from the original will check us out too.

So, I'm looking at you guys: Melody, Lindsey, and Eva...and possibly Lena if i can ever figure out what her sn is on here...hah.

I trust your taste, your ability to be level-headed on here and i just like you gals.
Would you be interesting in helping mod a community like this? Is this just a dumb idea? Am i totally ridiculous? lol...

If you would, then help me think up a name please. I've got HerMusicPlaysMe (i tried a bunch but thats the only one that went through) reserved but i'm all for suggestions, something broad, and awesome. hehe.
And I need help designing a super fucking fabulous page, i'm in finals right now so i don't have lots of time to play around with it for like 2 weeks but something to think about...if you're interested.

PS: and it shouldn't take up a whole lot of your time, i'm hoping to have enough good people that there won't be a whole lot for any one person to deal with, don't want anyone getting overwhelmed with something that should be fun!

Pushing Daisies' sees life after death

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - For a show about resurrecting dead people with a touch, ABC's "Pushing Daisies" saved a little magic for its own afterlife on Sunday.

Touched by the Emmys, the canceled series came to life to collect four statuettes, including one for Kristin Chenoweth as best supporting actress in a comedy.

The irony wasn't lost on series creator Bryan Fuller.

"It's a tremendous honor to see 'Daisies' win in so many categories -- and in the spirit of the show, win posthumously," he said. "Now can we please make the 'Pushing Daisies' movie?"

Just how big was "Daisies'" feat? With Chenoweth's victory on Sunday night and three other wins at the September 12 Creative Arts Emmys, the show, canceled in November, ranked fourth among all programs. It wound up with one fewer Emmy than reigning comedy champ "30 Rock" and tied with TV's top-rated "American Idol" and the Academy Awards.

But while she savored the moment, calling the win "more sweet than bitter" backstage and onstage thanking "the academy for recognizing a show that's no longer on the air," a weepy Chenoweth also was pragmatic about life after "Daisies."

"I'm unemployed now, so I'd like to be on 'Mad Men,' " she quipped.

I'm shopping for solar panels. I'll have the money to buy them by Spring of 2010. I'm really excited. I am sitting here looking for these things and this guy informs me that if you generate enough energy with them that the utility company pays you (and not just that, but they apparently pay the rate they would charge you).
Ok, so, to my knowledge arkansas does not do this. Them paying us at all for surplus would be awesome but i definitely don't think they'd pay us what we'd pay. That just sounds false to me. I don't know though did some law pass recently that i'm unaware of or something?
